A little paradise still exists nowadays.
In XIV th Century,
this little paradise was discovered by
the Popes when they settled in Avignon.
Their
Cardinals built their 'livrées' in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon
where they lived in close
to the Monastry and the Fort Saint André
with its Abbey. All this remains actually,
Villeneuve-lès-Avignon is a marvellous
village.
